Requirements:

Latex gloves

#2 pencils for practical exams

scantrons answer sheets for practical exams

Textbook

Attendance:

You are allowed to miss only one lab without any penalty. Missing more than one lab will result in a 10% deduction in your lab grade for each lab you miss after one lab. Students leaving early will be marked absent.

 

Evaluation:

1) Practical Examination on the skeletal system on October 28th. See Practical Examinations on this website for the items you are responsible for on the practical exam.  This will count for 1/3of your lab grade

2) Practical Examination on the cardiovascular and muscular systems on December 9th. See Practical Examinations on this website for the items you are responsible for on this practical also.  This will count for 1/3 of your grade.

3) Lab reports turned in at the completion of labs will count as 1/3 of your grade.

4) There are no makeups on practical exams.  If you miss a practical exam then you will receive a zero.

 

Lab Activities

**Students whose last name begins with A - K  (group 1)will meet first at specified time and then move to the next lab at the specified time. 

***Students whose last name begins with L - Z (group 2)  will meet first at specified time and then move to next lab at the specified time.

The following is  a schedule of our lab activities (subject to change depending on circumstances at the time of the lab):

Sept 2: *Lecture in room 119 The Language of Anatomy (pages 12 - 22) 6:00 - 6: 30

Sept 9th: * Lecture in room 119 on The Cell Cycle  6:00 - 6:30

October 28th: Bone Practical Exam  in room 207 (A - L will take the exam from 5:30 - 7:00; and M - Z will take the exam from 7:00 - 8:30)

 

November 4th: * Lecture in room 119 on blood types (6:00 - 6:30)
