Edythe Madeline BALLARD (CAMPBELL)


Obituary:

Edythe Madeline BALLARD passed away February 20, 1999 in Merced. She was born Edythe Madeline CAMPBELL, January 23rd, 1910, in Lindsey, Oklahoma. She married Clyde Ezra BALLARD Sept. 20th, 1931 in Lindsey, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurse in Chickasaw, Oklahoma before moving with her family to Baker RANCH, California in 1941. The family moved to Vassar Ranch So. of Merced in 1951. Edythe was active in the Hopeton Grange, Rebecca Lodge o Snelling & Heart Assoc.

She loved to play cards and was known for her crochet talents, making well over 400 afghans in the past 4 years to give to others. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 24th, at 10 a.m. at` Christian Life Center with Eug Breinig of Christian Life Center and Dan Horst of Yosemite Church of Atwater officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Arthritis Foundation, 203 Willow St., Ste. 201, San Francisco, CA 94109, or the charity of your choice.
