MIDNIGHT RIDER

The name sounds like country, but this definately is NOT . When we are asked what kind of Band are you, we have to say Rock. There are many names given to music these days but Rock seems to sum it all up quite nicely. So sit back, relax and check out one of the souths' New and Unique Band.

The Stuff You Want to Hear

Midnight Rider is an rock band in upstate South Carolina. We have strong rock and country roots. This band is roadworthy and roadtested (no garage band here). Each member brings with them a multitude of talent and experience. We play a variety of cover songs, in addition to our originals. The critics say that finally a band has found a way to fuse country/rock/folk and alternative music. Each performance is a concert event, with the band giving 110%. So if your looking for that sound that you haven't heard (but always knew was there) or you just enjoy good music, give us a TRY, I'm sure you wont be disappointed!

Rider Merchandise

Midnight Rider goodies include our black one of kind T-shirts ($10) and bandanas ($5) and each has the Midnight Rider logo (Horse and Rider) very cool looking! The Black T-shirts are just like the one Vance is wearing in the picture below, and yes we have sizes to fit everyone, if you want to order one please send a check or money order to the address listed below or drop us an E-Mail and we'll get ya the details.

Available is Midnight Rider's first recording in CD and cassettes, which is already receiving airplay in the Columbia, S.C. and Charlotte, N.C. area, also with limited airplay in the Brevard/Tryon, N.C. area. Also, we have T-shirts and Bandana's.

Hi gang, well here's the latest new from the front. The guys are working hard again at getting the creative side of our brains to work. The sessions are intense. The end result should be some really good new material.

People are starting to hear the Rider and the response has been very good but we need your help to keep the stations playing our music so give them a call and ask to hear us, the stations that have our music are 95.7fm WXRC, 106.9fm and 107.9 fm. Call em!!

If you haven't caught the band live, you really need to. The guys really put a lot of effort into the shows and you can see the results.
Also again, if you make it to a show and you heard it through the Web page, let one of the guys know and you'll get a FREE bandana.

NEW RIDER MUSIC

The guys have completed a new original tune called "Whiskey", this song has some history to it and I'll try to fill you in. Here goes, the original draft was composed by Alan's late brother, Alan had kept a copy of it and reworked some of it. The band came in and added the music. It's a good "southern" sounding song. Look for it in our next set.

The Band just received word back from some movie people and although they could not use our music, they gave us good reviews.
