A little bit like Cid Highwind, Barret Wallace is not afraid to speak his views. He is strong in body and mind. He is the leader of the AVALANCHE resistance group in Midgar, working against the evil Shinra Corporation. Barret lost his right hand in an accident, and now wields a prosthetic arm, allowing him to have guns implanted directly onto the end of his arm. There is only one other person in the world known to have done this.
