With vocals that sound hauntingly close to those belonging to Scott Weiland and a tight band that delivers some of the most influential American compositions written in the past twenty-five years, Vasoline defines what a tribute band should be.
Led by lead singer Jeremy Van Hoose, voiced to be one of the most solid vocalists in the Chicago Metro and has a stage persona that is nothing less than Scott Weiland himself with the rest of the guys filling the shoes and incredible sounds of the DeLeo brothers ( Dean & Robert ) and a drummer that rivals Eric Kretz himself.

Vasoline is going back on tour this Spring, giving you all that you loved on the "Vasoline 02' Tour" plus a load more. "SEXTYPE 03", will deliver all the classics as well as adding more tunes from STP's "No. 4" & "Shangri" records. Is that it? Hell no! You have heard either STP or Scott Weiland jam on tunes with other bands or covering it themselves right? Well, we're adding STP versions of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Beetles and more...
"SEXTYPE 03" will be hitting more venues/cities in your area to spread the gospel of Stone Temple Pilots through Vasoline. Expect a bigger show, more interaction with all of our nutty fans and if you keep hauling STP virgins to the shows, the crowd might just spill out into the parking lot where you may find us playing. Tour dates for the "SEXTYPE 03' TOUR" will be announced in a press release in the coming weeks with
the Midwest leg of the road trip focusing in on the selected areas: Chicago, South suburbs with surrounding Cook/Will counties in IL and Hammond, Highland, Dyer, Griffith, Crown Point, Portage, Michigan City and the rest of Northwest IN.
