Living Sacrifice I trusted this incredibly talented and always innovative metal band so much that I bought this album on the day it came out without having ever heard a second of it. It was a choice I did not regret. What I received was definitely worthy of all the hype it had garnered. As soon as I played the first track, “Imminent War,” I knew that this album was the band’s best ever. Brutal double bass, heavy guitars, deep throaty growls, and...this is the best part...all in 5/8 time! They did it all in terms of time signatures on this disc...5/8, 7/8, 14/8...well, of course, plenty of good old 4/4. This is indeed a great album for LS fans.
