Soul Not Style! Records

Why does "Soul Not Style!" Records need to exist? Well, I'll tell you why. I like Rock n Roll from the Soul, and these days there are to many little bands that are selling their souls in order to look cool onstage. I think this is bullshit! Call me a fashion Nazi, but I like some rock and roll to scream and dance to. Isn't that what rock n roll is all about? My dad took me to see the Rolling Stones a few years ago, and fucking Mick Jagger changed his outfit in between almost every song. This is not rock and roll! Yet many little bands are jumping on this bandwagon. What sunglasses should I wear onstage? Does my hair look cool? Do you think I look cool enough to get laid? Do are instruments look vintage enough? Will are hot sexy blond busty singer, help us sell records? Do I have my dance moves down? Do we have that great RockStar appeal that the Supersuckers have? Soul Not Style Records says Fuck Off to this shit. Soul Not Style records is about cheap guitar sounds and music and howls that come from the soul only!
