fanda QUICK TAKE OFF CHECKLIST
Panel Access:
SHFT+2 - OH (Overhead)
SHFT+3 - Quadrant
SHFT+4 - Steering
SHFT+6 - Anti-skid
SETTINGS
1.) Fuel shutoff OFF location: Quadrant SHFT+3
2.) Main power ON location: OH top left (Overhead)
3.) All DC Controls ON (same as item 2.)
4.) AC inverters ON location OH top right
5.) AC generators ON location OH top right
ENGINE START
1.) Confirm items 1. thru 5. (above) are completed
2.) Start engine #2 first using Ignition-M and Select #2
3.) Open fuel to engine #2 (click hotspot

Pushback SHFT+P will work! (no turn tho) |
STEERING and ANTI-SKID
SHFT+4 - Steering All ON
SHFT+6 - Anti-skid All ON
TAXI
1.) Brake set ON (CTRL+. [period])
2.) Condition Levers (props) MINimum CTRL+F1 (hear that
sound!)
3.) Release brakes and slowly open throttles)
4.) Use rudder steering and left/right brakes (F11 F12) to turn
5.) Control taxi speed using brakes (not throttle)
TAKE OFF
1.) Throttle Lock OFF location Quad position SHFT+3 (find
hotspot)
2.) Condition Levers keyboard CTRL+F4 (Quadrant
position SHFT+3)
3.) Open throttle to Take-off Power (not full throttle) using joystick
CAUTION:
Click on warning lights to disable |
CAUTION:
Warning will sound if brakes ON or prop not to CTRL+F4
or flap not set to 5 deg. (one notch) |
CLIMB OUT
1.) Rotate at 100 KIAS (Knots Indicated Air Speed)
2.) Gear then flap UP (once constant rate-of-climb established)
3.) Pull prop back to 1050 using CTRL+F2
4.) Pull throttle back to TRQ 80% (3 & 4 are backwards
but easier for the novice)
4.) Climb at between 130-160 KIAS
CRUISE
1.) Click the autopilot ON (AP top righthand)
2.) Click ALT to maintain present altitude
3.) Set prop to cruise CTRL+F1 (900 rpm)
4.) Set power to cruise TRQ 70% (use joystick throttle control)

If it makes a noise when you go like that don't go
like that!
