| No, Some staff members are non-members. We are there to assist anyone who is interested in Family History. | |||||

| No, all staff are volunteers & not professional genealogists. They will offer you suggestions on how to start | |||||
| your research and help you in all areas at the center from the books, films, fiche and computer resources. | |||||

| No, however, some of the data files in the Family Search® database may be searched on-line at the LDS web | |||||
| web site. The center also has various CD's containing the genealogy contributed through the website. | |||||

| No, any patron who uses the Family History Center will not be contacted by the missionaries unless they | |||||
| request information about the Church and indicate an interest in learning more about the Church. | |||||

| No, due to privacy laws we do not have information on living people. | |||||

| How can I order materials from the Family History Center? | |||||
| Patrons are encouraged to consult the Family History Library Catalog which lists the holdings of the Family | |||||
| History Library by the locality, surname, film or fiche number or a call number of a book. These numbers are | |||||
| the key to ordering any of these materials. Films cost $3.25 for the first 30 days and renewable for a further | |||||
| cost. The fiche cost .15 cents a sheet. Check with the center if a book is involved. All items are viewed only | |||||
| at the center and remain the property of the Library. | |||||

| Smoking is not permitted on church property. | |||||
| All ordered items must be paid for in advance. You will be notified by phone when the item arrives. | |||||
| Our books our reference items and do not leave the center, this includes all CD's. | |||||
| You can bring your lunch but will not be able to eat anywhere near any machines. | |||||
