"Why of course the people don't want war...
But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy,
and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along,
whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship...
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.
That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they're being attacked,
and denounce the pacifists for lack
of patriotism and exposing the country to danger."
-- Hermann Goering (Gestapo/Nazi leader),   Nuremberg, 1946

"There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people."

Today is a sad day when the US is in Iraq threatening to destroy Muqtada Al-Sadr

because he will not let American forces do whatever they want without regard. In this day and

age when the Muslim population is rightly outraged that the United States has invaded their country and destroyed it and many peoples

' lives...it is stupid

to expect that they will go quietly or that we have a right to remain silent about it. I suggest that if anyone is tired of being embarassed

by bridge burning, cowboy, corporate-scumfuck-militarists like

George W. Bush who didn't even have the courage to go to Vietnam and had to go to the Air National Guard (though he didn't serve his time

either) then I suggest that you check out Punkvoter.com or ElectronicIraq.com ---Nate
