En av mina absoluta favoriter med Morrissey överhuvudtaget. En stor orsak till detta är att låten i sin helhet känns otroligt monumental och stor. För mig råder det ingen tvekan om att detta är skivans bästa spår. En av Alain Whytes bästa kompositioner kombinerad med texten gör låten till ett riktigt mästerverk. Många (däribland jag) känner heller ingen tvekan om att texten handlar om fotbollshuliganer, och att Morrissey dras mellan att kalla ligisterna för fegisar ("We will descend on anyone unable to defend themselves") och hjältar ("We are the last truly British people you will ever know"). En annan bisarr textrad är den om att det skulle vara vändkorsen som gjort "oss" ovänliga...! Jag har stött på många vändkors i mina dar som supporter men inget har betett sig speciellt otrevligt mot mig. Morrissey har flera gånger uttryckt sin fascination för huliganism, se bland annat det här citatet:
"I understand the level of patriotism, the level of frustration and the level of jubilance. I understand the overall character. I understand their agression and I understand why it must be released ... when I see reports on the television about hooliganism in Sweden and Denmark or somewhere I'm actually amused ... as long as people don't die, I am amused."
