Welcome to the official site of the Western New England College Racquetball Team

We are a club sport at WNEC where you can participate in the Ladder or Pyramid against fellow club members. We play in ECRC (Eastern Collegiate Racquetball Conference) Tournaments, where we travel to places like Maryland, Pennsylvania, Boston and New York and play schools in the Northeast.

12/15/04	Congratulations to both WNEC teams for yet another great performance in the Albany ECRC Tournament! WNEC #1 finished with a team-record shattering 1817.5 points, good for 2nd place overall, and the men alone got 1447, which was the most out of any men's team at the tournament! WNEC won 3 out of the the 4 Gold Doubles Championships, D1, D2, D3, and totally dominated D2, where the final match was two WNEC players, Chris and Justin. Thanks to all for making this a great tournament. WNEC #2 had a much improved second tournament, which is great to see. They finished 11th out of 16th in Men's. Keep it up. 10/28/04	Congratulations on both WNEC teams for a good tournament in Allentown, PA! Our first team combined got over a thousand points and 4th place overall. The men's first team captured 3rd place. Congratulations to Chris Woerhle for finishing 3rd in D2 Gold, and his 1st place D2 Gold doubles finish w/ Justin Audette. Complete tournament results can be found here. All players: Get your challenges in.. Go to the ECRC Racquetball website and vote for the tournament date in the forum!! Nov 19-21 or Dec 3-5! You decide.
10/09/04	Fundraiser a success! Thanks for everyone who participated. ATTENTION EVERYONE: The Ladders and Pyramid are now up!!! Make sure to review the ladder and pyramid challenging rules. Anyone who wants to join, send one my way (jlabroad@wnec.edu) and include your name, email, phone, aim and ladder division!

9/26/04	The first tournament is October 15th, 16th and 17th in Allentown, Pennsylvania! Details will follow shortly. We want to get the the Ladders and Pyramid into full swing as soon as possible. E-Mail me at jlabroad@wnec.edu to sign up for the ladder, pyramid, or both. Make sure to include your e-mail and AIM. Check out the ladder and pyramid pages for rules and information! We now have court times reserved during the week. MWF 7-8pm and TTh 10-11pm. New players that want to learn from the senior players, come on Wed's 7-8pm.
