How does your service find your sitters?
When we need more babysitters, we usually ask our
current babysitters if they know of anyone who might make
a good Kid Care babysitter. If they do not, an ad will be
run in the "Help Wanted" section of the newspaper.

How old are your sitters?
Our babysitters range from 16-25. We generally like
to hire high school students, as well as college students.

Why can you not request the same
sitter through your service?
We will try to give you the same babysitter every time
you hire one. We only ask that you don't request a babysitter
because they might not be available due to another job, schoolwork,
or extra-curricular activities. Our babysitters are very busy!

Do the sitters you place to care
for infants (childern under 12 months), have previous experience
with infants?
We make sure that babysitters for infants are experienced
with infants. We have "age groups" at Kid Care -
Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Age. When a new
Kid Care babysitter is hired, they tell us which age group
they prefer to care for and which they are most comfortable
with. Therefore, when you are hiring a babysitter for an infant,
you can be sure that your babysitter is very experienced with
infants.

Do I pay the babysitters directly or
do I pay Kid Care Babysitting Service?
Please pay your babysitter directly. Some babysitters may
take checks; please ask them before writing one.

Is there a registration or annual
fee or am I charged a fee besides what I pay the babysitter?
There are no registration, annual or other "hidden
fees" that you must pay. The only fee you must pay is
what you owe your babysitter

How does transportation
work?
Transportation is usually pretty flexible. If you can provide
a pick-up ride from the babysitter's house to yours, this
is much appreciated. Some of our babysitters have cars, if
not we may be able to arrange a ride for them. Sometimes the
babysitter can be picked up from your house but a ride home
is the "norm".
