AZ RESCUE
Home

This isn't 1/6th, but it is important:
My wife and I volunteer for an organization that saves unwanted dogs and cats from the euthanasia list at the local shelter. Every year, hundreds of thousands of animals are killed because their owners didn't care for them, didn't want them, or just didn't deserve them. This has to stop.

These beautiful animals were all one day away from death when rescued, and we are so glad they are part of our lives. We serve as fosters for dogs and cats, opening our home to them while RESCUE tries to find them a forever home.

If you would like to know more about RESCUE, go to their website at www.azrescue.org.

Tasha
Tasha is ours now, we adopted her after fostering her for several months. She was just too good to let get away. She has been a GREAT foster sister to over 24 dogs since then, welcoming them to her home, watching over them, playing with them, and teaching them.

Bastet
All our cats are named after Egyptian Gods/Goddesses, and Bastet was named after the Cat Goddess herself. She is ours, adopted with Isis (below) even before we joined RESCUE as volunteers.

Isis
Our other little girl, this is the princess of the house.

Medici and Cheyenne
Two of our fosters, both now live in forever homes. Medici was adopted by a family with a young white shephard, and Cheyenne has found a home with another great dog who loves her and plays with her constantly, and a family that loves her.

Magnum
Magnum was a great old man. Calm, cool, collected, he was a perfect German Shephard. He too found a forever home, but we loved every minute he was in our lives.

Nerys
Nerys was a near thing for us. We almost adopted her because she and Tasha were such a pair, but another loving house was found, and she went to a forever home there.

Kayleigh and Kira
Kayleigh was our first foster, and Kira a very surprising second! No one knew Kayleigh was even pregnant, and one day, she lay down in a corner and suddenly, Angel noticed a little black bundle of something moving around near her. Unfortunately, Kira did not survive long in the world, but Kayleigh went on to a beautiful forever home where she is loved and treated like a queen.
