The Lucky Call: Chapter 9
Chapter 9:
About an hour later AJ arrived. He looked absolutely gorgeous! He looked so casual, which was an abnormality in itself. He had a sweatshirt on and adidas pants. No sunglasses, earrings, rings...absolutely nothing that you would see in a magazine. I liked him better this way, he was a normal person now instead of the "Bad Boy" of the Backstreet Boys. Now he was "My AJ".
We decided to head over to the video store and we rented The Gladiator. Whiel we were in the store a couple of girls in there teenage years ran up to me when they saw AJ and I holding hands. "Is that AJ McLean?" the oldest one asked while the others continued to glance between AJ and I. "Ummm...yeah" I said, not knowing if he wanted attention or not. "Would you ask him if he would sign something for us?" the younger one asked. "Oh, sure sweetie! I'll go get him for you guys" I said, before walking over and slipping my hand into AJ's. "You have a few adoring fans over there that would love to meet you." I said, smiling at him and leading him over ot the awaiting girls. "Hello ladies. How are you all today?" AJ said politely. "I'm great! could you sign this for us?" the oldes said, while holding out a piece of paper. "Sure" AJ said before signing the paper. "Is that your girlfriend?" the youngest asked AJ while glancing back at me. "Yes, this is Erin" he said, smiling at me. "Hello" each of the girls said. "Hi!" I replied, nervous as to what their reaction would be. "Well, we have to go, but it was a pleasure meeting you girls." AJ said, smiling and giving each of the girls a hug. "Bye!Thanks AJ!" the girls said in unision. I just smiled and waved good-bye as AJ and I walked out of the store hand in hand.
