URUGUAY: This Is Where I Came In is in the TOP 40  since March and the album is in stores since last week..... [April 27] was a special day for us, because we had an interview with the owner of CONCIERTO FM (the most important local radio station), who interviewed the Brothers last April 16th at the Middle Ear .... He told us about their
kindness, the questions they answered and their reaction when they received a book we sent them through him. The book was about Punta del Este (the most famous turistic area in our country) and Robin immediately remembered that he was there a long time ago (70´s). He told us also that they were giving interviews since midday and they looked a little bit tired, but they were incredibly polite. He was luckily enough to talk to the three of them. After he finished, Barry and Robin left and Maurice continued giving interviews.- Andrea and Irene, Uruguay

FLASH! Check this out! Spotted by Arne (Words & Music ml). You need the Flash Plugin. This is the Universal Norway website.

TIMES MAGAZINE: There is an article in the Times Magazine about the BGs. The author is visiting Barry's home and all three (BeeGees) are there. There's quite a lot of male banter going on in between the more serious questions. The article runs to 5 pages and has some photos with it. The date of the magazine is 21 April. Enjoy! Bee Gees love Sandy
NOTE* I THINK with this issue, there is a bonus BeeGees cdRom. Don't quote me though as I am in AUSTRALIA ;o) -- J.

RADIO 2 TRANSCRIPT:  Here is the transcript to the Radio 2 Interview that Robin did. It was kindly transcribed by Charlene (RingsAroundTheMoon):::> CLICK HERE

DEJA VU ON JAPANESE TV: A new commercial for Ford is being aired on Japan TV several times a day. The song being used is "Deja Vu", which is off the new album. Robin has lead vocals. In the words of Keiko Inagaki (who very kindly alerted us to this) -- "Compared with "This Is Where I Came In", it is more upbeat, energetic and bouncy. It is actually a very positive, lively song and it has a good feel to it. ... very catchy!"

TOUR SCUTTLEBUTT: According to Entertainment Weekly, Maurice said there will be a "brief" tour, and they are thinking of calling it "The Fully Nude Tour".... seeing that the new album is the bare basics and all. What you hear is what you get. Apparently all the songs were put down like in the early days, with the vocals and the instruments recorded at the same time. Now how cool is that? freakin' cool!!!

The latest is  unconfirmed gossip, so don't go pestering poor Andrew Môn Hughes, with 2am phone calls :o)
Posted to "WORDS & MUSIC" by Graham in Manchester, UK.:

The Manchester Evening News page 2 (wow!!) snippet (boo!!) says....
"Music legends the Bee Gees are set to push the boundaries of pop by playing a concert at Lord`s Cricket Ground. The Manchester band are holding discussions with bosses of the historic venue, as well as other large arenas around the UK."
