the club :o) The Robingibb.co.uk
site still bears the message "coming soon". Not sure what's
happening there. Anyway, go
to Robingibb.com, which is a professional looking design so far, and
will have some great features operational any day by the looks of it!
PLEASE E-CARD: Get
the e-card for Robin's new single. Right click link, and choose "save

ROBIN GIBB ALBUM:
Paul Lay has kindly put the whole Frank Skinner interview on his site. It's
almost 3MB, so be patient. It's best to right click this
link, and choose "save as". (Save to a folder on your hard
drive)
To download a short sample of the single "Please", right click this
link, and choose "Save As". (340KB)
And after that, be sure to visit: Playsoft.freeserve.co.uk
NOTE* The Skinner interview is THE funniest I
have heard in such a long time. It's worth the download!!

"Frank
Skinner interviewed Robin for about 15 minutes. Robin wore his black
leather jacket but didn't have his glasses on. He looked really good. He said
Bee Gees are going to release an album next year in the mean time he
has done a solo album. He said the album will come out soon after Christmas.
Robin talked about his childhood days (setting fire to allotments!), about SNF
and about his 1200 years old house in Oxford. They also showed clips of Bee
Gees performing in 1960, clip of Massachusetts, his new single "Please"
and a performance of 3 Italian brothers who appeared as Bee Gees on last week
edition of 'Stars In Their Eyes' European Championships. Robin asked how well
they fared and Frank Skinner said they didn't win (actually they came 2nd).
They only played about 30 seconds of his new single and it sounded really
good. I love the song and I think it's going to be a hit." - Bee
Gees Online
Below is
an official announcement from management, about Robin's new solo album:
Robin Gibb is set to release his first solo album in 17 years.
All Bee Gees fans will be informed in due time of the single and album's exact
release dates and any other activities.
The earliest the Gibb brothers will start writing together again with a view
to possibly doing another "Bee Gees" album will be after Robin's
project has run its course (presumably Spring 2003). The earliest any group
tour dates may supposedly happen, will be 2004.
In the mean time, we hope all fans will wholeheartedly support Robin with his
venture!
