The Design Process:

Within Design and Technology we have the Design Process. This is the process we follow to help us while we are designing. It looks like this:

As you can see we start off with a problem and then have to research it. In Design and Technology the Internet is very helpful in helping us to research. It helps us because when a designer makes a product and wants to market it, he can put it onto the Internet.

So wWhen you have a problem to solve you can search on the Internet to see if someone has had the same problem and what they did to solve it.

The Internet is also a cheap way to reach a lot of people with your design and hopefully get people to buy it.

Now, in your books copy down the design process and answer the following questions with full sentences:

1. What is the main part of the design process we use the Internet for?

2. What could be another part that we could use the Internet in? Why?
