My name is Sam. Yeah, yeah, I know. You expected something long and complicated-sounding. Well...my real name is, but hey, I want to keep the mental load to a minimal.

I currently live in the North Vegas area, but I was born in Jersey and I've lived most of my life in Long Beach, California. Home of Snoop Dogg, Sublime, Cameron Diaz and that guy who played Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" movies.

I'm currently a student and work part-time, trying to keep a household together while pursuing my dream.

I'm now working toward my first novel. One chapter (or rather, the prologue) is done, and I'm in constant edit mode on it until I think it's perfect. Since I haven't found a willing artist for the graphic novel version, I've begun to learn how to draw on my own. That, and I'm also studying English at the College of Southern Nevada.

On my spare time, when I'm not doing any sort of religious research or writing poetry (see my poetry page), I'm usually out drinking Cuervo, playing pool, watching movies, being a total idiot and doing whatever I can to keep me away from being totally sane.
