FAQ:

Who is that dog on the sledvelopes? See  History

How is the collected sledvelope money spent? Paper, postage, advertising, posters, incidentals for  drivers, handlers and volunteers. A portion goes to husky rescue programs.

How can I get involved?   Join us during the Saturday events....at the Pancake Breakfast, in the parking lot, in Rosseau when we arrive with the mail, at lunch. We are a friendly group so come and chat with us, pet our dogs and if you are strong enough, help us get to the start of the trail.

Why do drivers wear helmets?  This is a dangerous sport. It's not like riding a snowmachine where you can turn off the ignition. Our dogs are well trained but sometimes they have a mind of their own and want to go on another trail, down a steep hill as fast as possible or to follow a wild animal into the forest.  That's why we like to ask you to keep off the trail at the beginning especially because the dogs are very excited and want to go fast. You are in danger of being run over if you are on the trail.
