I have decided to NOT update this page anymore!
I have reached age 65 (last year), and this page, like me, is now retired. While I worked, I found a need to testify about my triumphs and failures and my faith journey. It kept me rooted and grounded. The more I studied the Bible, the more I realized that we Christians are hypocrites. Thank God for mercy and than Jesus for being our advocate! Also seek the Holy Spirit with fervent desire
I have retired to North Carolina, where the taxes are cheap and the women are . . . (better not finish that one LOL). I went home in 2018 to visit the New Yorker's, and found that friends and family find ways to cope and adapt to life's changes! I was very happy to spend almost two weeks at the home of Kenny (+ Tamara) Samuel's. At my age, you never know when its the last time you will see someone.
Your biggest regrets in life are the things that you do NOT DO! It is REALLY cliche, but "Live every day like it is your last." Love unconditionally, NO EXCEPTIONS! When your fragile children tell you something that you know is wrong, and it doesn't hurt anyone, smile and nod. And above all, help people when you can. As Gordon Lightfoot sings, "The house that you live in will never fall down, if you pity the stranger who stands at your gate."
And so let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9)
