Riding lessons teach confidence, self-esteem, problem solving,
creativity, and fitness. I have designed my own riding program
that ensures correct riding and knowledge by following a
learning guideline. Copies are available for those interested. The
guideline lets you know exactly how you are progressing, what
you've already learned, and what you'll be learning next!

Riding lessons can be done English or Western, so whether yu
want to focus on jumping, dressage, or trail riding, I can work
with you to get the best out of your horse and the most out of
your lesson!

We work in the indoor and outdoor arenas, weather permitting.
We will also have a basic cross country course available for more
advanced students to work on.

Lessons focus on control of the horse, basic through advanced, as
well as learning more about body control, coordingation,
strength building and communication. As someone who has used
it for this purpose, riding can help you get in shape, too! After
the birth of my child, I was fitting into my old clothes within a
couple of months due to exercise while riding.

Lesson students are encouraged to participate at local shows,
normally held within an hours driving distance. The cost varies,
but we all work hard to keep the shows affordable for everyone.
Showing is a great way to feel your hard work pay off!
