     RMR Shields are ENTIRELY HAND CRAFTED! All helmet fronts are hand cut to shape, hand punched, and hand sewn. Graphics and lettering are all done by hand, never screened, hot stamped, or punched. In fact the only time a power tool is used, is when I engrave the brass band on the back of the shield, giving your purchase its own unique serial number,....a true one-of-a-kind! RMR Shields use NO filler materials such as plastic, or fiber board when doing a multi-ply shield, and some styles are offered as solid leather! Colored 100% hand waxed (with bees wax for water proofing)cotton thread is used in the stitching, unless nylon thread is requested.
