Welcome to the Wonderful World of Sims 2

How would one like to play God with people’s lives? Well, people may not be able to do that anytime soon. But, there is something close to it. Sims 2 is like a reality show without the fake drama attached to it. The game is pretty simple. The play just creates a Sim, a person-type character to the game. The creation process is a simple one. First, the player must give the Sim or the family a last name. Then, the Sim gives a first name. Next, the player can make the Sim a different race, age, gender, or body weight. The player can change the head, hair color, hair style, eye color, and facial features of the Sim. The Sims can even have make-up on them as well. For male Sims, one can add a bread or facial hair. The player then can mix and match different outfits for the Sim to wear. Each Sim gives six outfits: causal, formal, underwear, PJs, swimsuit, and workout. Finally, the Sim gives a personally and an aspiration. The personally depends on what astrological sign is picked. For example, a Pisces is really nice and loving while a Tarsus is very playful. Each Sims has five aspirations to choose from: Wealth, knowledge, family, romance, or popularity. A player can make as family Sims as they like. They have to be related to each other somehow. Adult Sims have to be parents of kid and teen Sims. Once the family is created, the fun really begins.

Next, the Sim has to be moved into a house. The houses come into many shapes and sizes. The great thing about Sims 2 and the older version, Sims, is that the players can download anything to play the game. Lots, houses, clothes, hacked items, download Sims have them. All of the downloads go into the download folder. There are even some cheat codes to play with in the game. One cheat is to get more spending money for the Sims to use. Once the Sim family is moved in, it is time to really play. Each Sim has many wants and fears that depend on their chosen aspiration. Wants add points to the Sims’ score and fears deduct points. The number of points leads to many different prizes such as a tree of money for the Sims. They also get prizes when they reach a certain point on their career path. Each Sim has a full life cycle. They grow up, get old, and die. Sims pretty much act like people in the real world. They get jobs, have relationships, and get frustrated. The only difference is that the players can control them. Man, it feel good to play God on the computer.
