Pride Battle

Morgan began to take over everything. Changes came fast to Animal House. Everything became more uniform and proper. Morgan was the son of a general in the British army. He originally went to a military academy. His father moved him to Tokyo-Zion Academy so that he could make new friends and loosen up some. But yet, military lifestyle always follows a military brat no matter what. This military brat made himself the commander of Animal House. The boys followed Morgan around like sheep. Rob stayed close to the boy's side. Only problem, Noizchild became more and more isolated. She didn't like it one bit. Rob barely had any time to spend with her. That meant no sexy little games lately. And when that happened, Noiz got very unhappy. Unhappiness always led to distraction with work. So, every part was a loss on her behalf. But, the kitty wasn't the only one with problems. Artemis didn't enjoy her having the wall in the dorm. He pounded on the wall once again.

"Noiz!!!" he yelled. "This wall is unacceptable! It's... an escape hazard! Take it down!!!" Silence. Artemis pounded on the wall again. This time, he tried a different approach. "Listen," he said a little calmer this time. "Could you at least open up and tell me what's wrong?" Oh, the cat opened up alright. The opened the peep open and dumped cold water on the pig! He screamed out in misery.

"Aw!!!" the pig screamed. "Look at this! I just bought this new suit!!!" Noiz smirked to herself on the other side. Good to know that she could torment the pig even when powerless. She listened for the footsteps and the complainants to June about his suit. He didn't fail to deliver. When they were gone, Noiz became bored again. Well, it was fun while it lasted. So now what? No point of fighting Morgan. He had become too powerful for her. The animals had all abandoned her. Even Rob was mesmerized by his new friend. Speaking of which, Noiz heard new footsteps. Anger filled her right away. The traitor was here.

    "Hi Momo!" Rob called.

"Hello traitor!" Noiz replied. The mouse sighed and rolled his eyes.

"How long are you going to keep that one up?" he asked. Silence. "Anyway," Rob said. "Can't stay long. Morgan's holding another meeting in the cafeteria. You should come sometime." Noiz snorted at that one.

"Sure," she mumbled to herself. "It'll be a real hoot!"

"Oh come on Noiz!" he called. "Morgan's a great guy! You should really get to know him more!" Another snort came on the other side. Rob sighed and shrugged again.

"Or not..." he said. "See you later!" Then, the mouse went away. Noiz sighed to herself annoyed again. This was sucking big time. However, it would get worse. Morgan had been plotting from the beginning. He saw Animal House as flawed. It needed some repair. In his eyes, Noiz didn't seem to be doing the job right. Typical of commoners. He could whip this house into shape like his old one. But first...

June happened to be walking by on her usual route doing her usual rounds when she overheard Morgan's plan to the boys in the game room.

"Once we change the menu here," he said. "We'll eliminate the staff. They're incompetent anyway. I'll go by the administrators' office in the morning and have June and Artemis removed." June stood pale with her chart in her home. She looked like she would throw up. The woman ran all the way back to Artemis. She pounded on the door fiercely.

"Enter!" Artemis called. June quickly opened the door. The pig looked up at her. June looked as if she would break down and cry. Artemis rolled his eyes at her.

"What is it now?" he asked annoyed. June repeated everything that she heard from the meeting. Artemis went just as pale as she did. He hung his head in defeat.

"Oh no!" the pig wailed out. "I'll lose my job!"

"What are we going to do?" June asked in a panic. Artemis drew a blank at first. But then, a solution came to him. He didn't like it. But there wasn't much of a choice anymore. He might as well say it.

"Get Noizchild!" he pleaded out in desperation. June looked at him surprised.

    "What?" she asked.

"Get Noiz!" he repeated. "She'll rise some hell to save our jobs!"

"Sorry!" the cat said as she shrugged. "Can't help you there."

"Please Noiz!" June pleaded. Morgan's planning to get ruin of us by next week. He'll even have us replaced." Noiz shrugged at her.

    "Can't help you," she replied.

"But why not?" Artemis asked her desperately. Noiz shook her head at him.

"No support," she replied. "They cling onto his every word. Can't do anything about it." June looked at her disappointed. Artemis stood there in defeat. He and June walked away in silent defeat. The worst had just help. Even Noiz didn't want to help at all. This was really bad. Morgan had won. Until...

Noiz had a light tap on her shoulder. The kitty whipped her head around upwards. Rob stood over her smiling kindly. Noiz rolled her eyes at him again.

"What is it you traitor?" she hissed at him. Rob smiled and said nothing to her. He kissed her on the cheek. The cat rolled her eyes again.

"What do you want?" Noiz hissed at him. The mouse smiled at her kindly.

"I want you to come to the meetings," he replied. Noiz rolled her eyes again.

    "No!" she barked.

"Come on!" Rob pleaded. "It'll be fine. Morgan just wants all of the residents in Animal House to be present for this meeting. And besides, you can't stay all alone forever. You need to get out again!" Noiz up at him with big eyes. He had hit a soft spot with her on that one. His mistress sat silently staring at him. Rob smiled at her sweetly. He kissed her on the forehead.

"Will you come with me?" Rob asked her. Noiz became bitterly. She nodded at him in defeat. The mouse smiled at her kindly.

"Good girl," he whispered. Then, the mouse helped her to her fight and walked her down to the cafeteria. Morgan had rearranged everything. Instead of being scattered everywhere, the table and chairs all faced into the center all sitting next to each other. Noiz looked around at the set up. She hated it. He took away her seat from the window. Noiz wanted to turn around and leave, but Rob pushed her forward. All of the animals turned and looked up at her. Morgan smiled at her coldly.

"Aw Noizchild," he greeted her in a sarcastic way. "So glad of you to join us at last!" The cat rolled her eyes in cold way. This was a now low for her. But what choice did she had now? Morgan had already taken away her support. So, might as well join. Noiz nodded right at him.

"Yeah," she mumbled to herself. Morgan held her hand.

"Take a seat, Noizchild," he ordered. The cat reluctantly did so between Billy and another boy. Rob sat next to Morgan at the head of the table.

"So anyway," Morgan went on. "I purpose that we all have fitness days every other day, all deserts cut back to only fruit, reading real books every night, and one hour of computer time." Everyone listened in silence. Morgan neatly placed his hands on the table. "So any questions?" he asked. Graham raised his hand. Morgan looked over and noticed him.

    "Yes Graham?" he asked.

"Well," the English boy began. "I was thinking..."

"That's nice!" Morgan cut him off. Graham sat quietly to himself. He should have known that was coming. Morgan never listened what any of them had to say. Everything and everyone had to think the same and be a unit. Usually Morgan's ideas always reigned supreme over everyone else's thoughts. Quite unfair really. Morgan clapped his hands together again.

"Okay then," he called. "That's settled. My general, Rob, and I will shape this house just yet!" At those words, the mouse stood up boldly. Morgan turned to him.

"Yes general?" he asked. Rob smiled at him boldly. Morgan looked at him with bright eyes.

"Oooo! Really?" he asked. "What is it?" The mouse walked over to an empty chair near a table. He yanked and dragged it over to the window where Noiz sat. The animals stare on in surprise. Morgan stood up in worried shock. Noiz smiled at him brightly. The mouse turned back to the crew.

"Now Momo!" he called. "Take your seat!" Noiz stood up to her feet bravely.

"Gladly!" she replied. The cat got up and moved over to the chair. Morgan looked on in disappointment.

"General!" he yelled. "What is the meaning of this?" Rob looked at him smiling.

"You see, Morgan," he spoke up. "You leadership is good during war times. But, we're not in war and we are not sheep. We are individuals with minds of our own and different personalities. We like how we run things here. And we don't need a unit. We just need people." Morgan stared on in disappointment. Where did he lose control? The other animals cheered at Rob's words. Morgan just turned around and left.

"Morgan's transferring back to his old school," Rob told Noiz as they sat on the bed leaning against the dark bamboo wall.

"Good," Noiz replied. "One less pain in the ass to deal with." Then, she leaned her head on her shoulder. She purred at the feeling of his strong warm young shoulder against her cheek. Rob blushed at her. But then, another question came into his mind.

    "Uh... Momo..." he spoke up.

    "Hm?" the cat asked him.

"Why did you build up that wall behind us when I asked to meet your family?" he asked. Noiz looked up at him quickly. Rob braced himself for the worst. This time, she was in a good mood to talk.

"Cause," the cat replied. "You sounded like you were trying to see them to marry me or something! You really freaked me out there."

"Sorry," Rob replied. "I just wanted to be closer to you." Noiz smiled at him sweetly. She lightly kissed him on the lips. He softly kissed her back. Noiz drew away smiling.

"I'll introduce that to you when I'm ready, okay?" she asked. Rob smiled at that one.

"Okay," he said. Noiz kissed him on the nose.

"Good," she murmured slowly. "I'll take the wall down in the morning as well." The mouse smiled at her on that one as well.

"Okay," he replied again. Noiz just smiled at him sweetly and leaned her head on his shoulder once again. Good to have her pride back once again.
