Many Styles

    Theatre is just like everything else in the world. It all comes in many forms and styles. There is always a little something for all to enjoy. But, why is that? There are so many explanations to choose from. One answer could be found within the element of time. Drama all started back with the Egyptians in ancient times. Then, the Greeks came along and added their own touch to everything. Theatre started out as a form of worships to the gods. From there, theatre styles just evolved. Time periods shaped the art of theatre to suit the tastes of its people during the era. Different cultures came along and added their own flavor to the mix. Morales and ways of thinking also played parts into the style as well. But mostly, the style of theatre reflects on what people feel like then. Realism reflects real life to the audience. Nonrealism plays with imaginary. It all just depends on what the people are in favor for during the time and place in the world. In truth, theatre is just like the rest of art in the world.
