Iris Assembly #31, International Order of Rainbow for Girls, was instituted on November 21, 1936 at the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey. They met in Belmar. Iris is the Goddess of Rainbows and seemed a fitting name. Today, Iris Assembly meets in Freehold, New Jersey. For information contact the Mother Advisor through this web site.

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) is a youth group for girls between the ages of 5 and 10 for Pledges and 11 to 20 for Rainbow Girls. This youth group, The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, is only affiliated with the Masonic Lodges, Order of the Eastern Star Chapters, and Courts of Amaranth. Many groups and organizations use the name of Rainbow in their title or organizational name. We are NOT associated with any other group than the three listed above.
This web site acknowledges allegiance to the Supreme Assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, whose seat of authority is in McAlester, Oklahoma; to Ms. Mary Adeline Bradford, Supreme Worthy Advisor; and to the Grand Assembly of New Jersey and our Supreme Inspector, Miss Kathleen Nase.
Iris Assembly has a sister Pledge Group: Iris Pledge, that meets on the same night in the same location. Pledges are Rainbow Girls, age 5 to 11. They hold meetings and perform charity and community service work, just like their Rainbow Sisters in Iris Assembly. They also have just as much fun! Visit Iris Pledge's web page by clicking on the pledge logo.
