Chocolate Brownie
Ingredients:
100g dark chocolate(at least 60% cocoa solids)
100g walnuts(optional)
110g butter
225g sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
50g flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder(or use self-raising flour)
Recipe:
- Pre-heat oven to 350F (180C), chops nuts roughly and break chocolate into
small squares.
- Melt butter and chocolate together over low heat.
- Mix melted butter and chocolate over low heat.
- Beat eggs then add to mixture.
- Mix flour with salt and baking powder, then add.
- Stir mixture thoroughly.
- Put mixture into greased brownie tray.
- Bake for 30 minutes, check frequently so as not to over cook. The middle
should be sticky, while the outside remain crisper.
- Leave to cool, dust with icing sugar and cut into squares.
How to serve:
Served warm with vanila ice cream, or eaten cold.
