GENERAL TRAVEL INFORMATION

LOCATION
Sechin is 357 kms. north of Lima and 5 kms.from Casma in the Department of Ancash.

ALTITUDE
Sechin is at 90 meters above sea level.

CLIMATE
The climate in Sechin is warm and dry, most of the year. In Summer (January to March) is very hot. The year temperature goes in between 13º minimum and 31º as maximum.

ACCESS / APPROACH
By Land:
The North Pan-American Highway permits the access from Casma, through a highway which is totally paved that goes up to the Archaeological Site. The trip on bus takes aprox. 5 hours to Casma.
