Canada

Vast areas of wilderness; modern, cosmopolitan cities; amazing scenery. A country of contrasts! I'd only spent a few days in Canada, around the Toronto/Niagara area (with a day visit to Montréal) but in the Fall of 2000 I spent just over two weeks in this great country with my friend Drew. Toronto and Montréal were revisited, but we also headed west to the Rockies and beyond, meeting some friends on the way...

Canada is a beautiful country, and much too big to fully explore in the time I had there. There's still much I'd like to see in the Rockies, and around Vancouver. Quebec and Ottawa went unvisited this time. And I haven't even started on the central plains, or Newfoundland. Hey, I'll get round to it all sometime!
