KidInfo - A web site for students and teachers. Contains links to information for just about every curriculum area. There is a teachers link that will take you to additional teacher web resources, student-teacher tutorials, and lesson plans.

PBS TeacherSource - Free lesson plans, teachers guides, and online student activities to compliment PBS programs.

TechLearning -Educator-tested school technology solutions. The online edition of Technology & Learning magazine.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators - One of the most popular teacher sites on the web.  Information is categorized by subject area and updated daily.

AskERIC - More than 1,000 lesson plans, searchable archives of education-related listservs, and links to television series guides.

MediaSeek's ExploraSource  - Locate standards-based resources. You can search by grade, subject, and topic.  Also find lists of resources that fit learning standards you specify.

Education.com - Contains over 700 lesson plans, a writing guide for students, over 1,900 encyclopedia articles, over 600 free clip art, professional development resources, Internet activities, teacher mentoring services, educational links, and lots of free stuff.

Classroom Connect - Provides online curriculum materials and adventure learning expeditions.  Also visit Connected University, where teachers can take online, accredited, instructor-led courses.

Education World - Links to over 115,000 education related sites, searchable by subject and/or grade level, as well as lesson plan activities, curriculum ideas, and education site reviews.

Online Act 48 Continuing Ed. Programs - Sponsored by the National Center for the Profession of Teaching, Inc.  Free Act 48 programs to help meet the state required professional development credits.

The WebQuest Page -Hosted by the Educational Technology Department of San Diego University. A Web site for creating online lessons called WebQuests. Includes examples and training manuals.

The Concept Mapping Home Page -Help students structure their research through the use of concept maps. Includes examples, concept mapping links, and information on concept mapping software.

Changing the Questions - Design lessons to promote student's critical thinking skills. This site was created by Joyce Valenza, a school library media specialist who also writes an educational technology column for the Philadelphia Inquirer. This site provides links to information on essential questions, historical inquiry, problem-based learning, I-search, WebQuests, scaffolds/organizers, and question brainstormers. There are also links to examples of best practice.
