We're friends, but I always wished we were more
But it's something I'll never ask for
I don't want to ruin the great thing we have now
So I'll ignore this silly fantasy somehow

Why do we keep going on when the pain never goes away?
Why do we continue with life when people die everyday?
Why do we go through this struggle when sooner or later it will end?
We all do it because of the love from our family and friends
We live this life God has given us knowing it won't last forever
But we will always survive if we all stick together
The fuel that keeps us going is the love we receive from others
The love that came since the very beginning from our very own mothers
Why does the love we have for others mean more than anything could?
It's because they know that because of that love, we'd do things for them no one else ever would
The reason some people end it all is because the think they are alone
When in reality.... everyone has love to call their own
