Would you like to know more about my breed?

The Havana Brown

Havana's are one of the best breeds for many reasons not only because of our unique appearance, but we have a charming personality.

Appearance

Our fine fur comes in a rich solid mahogany brown that looks like silky, smooth chocolate; there is nothing sweeter than that! The whiskers on our cheeks must be brown in colour as well. We do come in a lilac shade, but this equally exquisite version of the Havana is not recognized by most cat associations.

Havana's have a very distinctive head shape. We have expressive green eyes that are oval in shape and sit low on our face. Our foreheads are high and show off our large round ears and our head is slightly longer than wide with a square chin and rounded muzzle.

Our medium-sized bodies are firm and muscular and our long legs give us elegance and grace to walk like a panther!

Personality

Havana's have wonderful personalities that cannot go unnoticed. We are a very confident, inquisitive and gentle cats with a soft meow and a loud purr.  We like to use our paws to touch and investigate everything. We'll even use our paws to tap you and get your attention. When it comes to food, we love to eat, so don't leave anything laying around. Havana's are moderately-active and love to be with you whether you are doing laundry, working on the computer, or relaxing on the couch.
