Dear Friends,
I've now been a missionary in Croatia since May of 2000.
It's with out hesitation that I can tell you the
greatest need the Croatian people have is the Word
of God. Romans 10,17 says, faith cometh by hearing
and hearing by the Word of God. How can people have
faith with out the Word of God? For 17 years I've
been preaching to the Croatian people, and text
after text in the Croatian Bible has said the
complete opposite of my KJV. Several years ago God
led me and Rajko Telebar to do something about
this problem. By God's grace we started the Croatian
Bible project. We do not claim to be qualified to
translate God's Word. However, we feel called to
give the people of Croatia the greatest gift that
anyone could receive and that gift is the eternal
Word of God! We are asking you to partner with us,
so that together we can give the people of Croatia a
gift that will last for all eternity!
Meet the Translator
It is a joy for me to introduce to you Pastor Rajko
Telebar. I have now known him since May of 2000, and I
can honestly say that he walks with God. I have
watched both he and his family grow in the Lord.
Brother Telebar is a man above reproach, and he is
an example of the believers in word, in
conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in
purity.
Brother Rajko Telebar has been saved for 32 years.
He is the pastor of the first independent Baptist
church in Croatia. Brother Rajko is a man of God who
loves the Lord Jesus and has a tremendous desire to
serve our Master. He is a faithful soul winner and
loves to tell people the old old story of Jesus and
His love. Brother Rajko is married and has four
beautiful children who are learning from their
parents to love God.
How you can help?
We need people that will
commit themselves to pray for the Croatian Bible
project. We must have God leading in every area of
this project. Pray specifically that God will give
us wisdom as we translate God's eternal Word.
We need people that will
commit to give to the Croatian Bible project. At the
present time our monthly expenses are about $800 a
month. This includes paying Brother Rajko, and also,
we are paying two people who will check for
grammatical mistakes.
We are asking churches to
commit to the Bible project at $10.00 a month for
the next 6 years. If everyone will do a little, then
our God will do a lot!
If you would like to be a part
of this wonderful work then please send your gift
