Henry M. Willis was Phebe’s 1st husband. He apparently died young, as Phebe remarried in 1866 to William Hicks. As of now, I have not found a Marriage Record nor a License for Phebe & William. The Marriage Record for Phebe & Henry M. Willis was established in Albia, Monroe County, Iowa. It may be found in Book I, Page 121 at the Monroe County Court House located in Albia, Monroe County, Iowa.
