I am laying down in bed,
Yet my eyes are open wide.
I’m dreaming of you
Sitting by my side.
As I’m lying there
I slowly close my eyes,
Picturing us together
Under the starry skies.
Your hand reaches toward me
Then our fingers interlock,
And I stare into your eyes
As we cuddle and we talk.
The picture then it blurs
As I break through the spell,
If you think I’ll hurt you
You don’t know me very well.
