Hi!
This is my cowboy page in honor of my dad, that's him in the picture, when he was young. You can see that it was a while ago by the house. I will probably be putting a few more pictures in as I go.
My dad was a real cowboy, not a drugstore cowboy like a lot of the so called cowboys today. He had a small ranch and cattle and horses and the whole bit. He did a little roping at Round-up Club, and was quite good at it. He was a very good judge of horses too.
He also farmed a little but was never much of a farmer. He didn't invest in all the high priced tools and things that you almost have to have to be a big farmer. He didn't have enough farmland to do much farming and didn't care about leasing any, like a lot of the farmers in the area did.
