Requirements for Adopting a Chihuahua from this Rescue Organization:

1. You MUST have a fenced-in yard or be willing to have a secure and suitable fence constructed & provide proof thereof.
2. You must NOT have any small children.
3. You MUST be willing to make the trip to Southern Ohio to meet Kathleen & of course, the dog; she will not allow any of her dogs to travel alone or with complete strangers.

Please note that there will be no exceptions. If you think the rescue will make an exception just for you, or that we don't mean what we say, or that you can lie to us about meeting the requirements, you are very wrong, and will be wasting everyone's time if you pursue adopting from this organization.

There will also be an adoption fee; rescue is very costly and the fee only recovers a tiny portion of the total costs to the rescue person. All dogs in this rescue organization are either spayed or neutered, are up-to-date on all shots, heartworm testing & meds, and have had all necessary medical and dental needs tended to. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of care for your adopted dog.
