Fitting the Tub to the Frame.

Stage 4 "Fitting the Tub to the Frame"

The tub was easily lifted on the frame but leveling it up took a few hours. "Tip" Make sure the square area of each inner fender is the same distance from the top of the upper "A" arm and suspension tower" Any difference between them becomes noticeable when the outer fenders are fitted. One side will be higher than the other.

This was taken in January 2000. The Dash, Heater, Wiper Motor and the majority of the wiring is now done.

As the wiring for the alternator and the indicator/horn had to be either changed or added to and knowing the lights are poor to say the least, I decided to re-wire the whole car. I used a heavier 12g for the alternator and 14g wire for the main circuits with 16g for the rest. I added an additional fuse box and put the fan, wipers, charging circuit and horn all on their own fused circuits.

Since this last photo was taken I fitted a AMCO Front Sway Bar which with the Adjustable Gas Shocks should improve the handling from the std set up.
