BROADCASTING (Radio)

Started in broadcasting at a very young age of 14, playing popular music during the weekends and after school.
Pursued the career further by taking a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. In college, he landed a job in another radio station. Coincidence? I guess not. It's FATE!!!
A station manager for a radio station was there and heard the commercial Jamie read in class. Immediately, he was offered to come back on the air.
Not long after, he was asked to work for DZRJ, The Rajah Broadcasting Network, The Rock of Manila. Started as a news writer/caster. Growing up listening to the radio station early in life, the programming and format came natural to him. At 19, he has learned the tools of this trade and went on to production, programming, advertising and promotions, sales, and managing the radio station's operations. Programming includes Album Oriented Radio (AOR), alternative Rock, Fusion Jazz, and music from the 60's, 70's, and the 80's. Fellow Rock Jocks (RJ) are The Madman also known as AJ Sunday, The Mole, Sneakers, The Mystery Man, Jake Taylor, Bob Magoo, Little Rock, Double A, The Unicorn, Howlin' Dave, Kid Charlamagne, Baby John, Brother Becky, Stoney Burke, Bob Sellner, Eric I, Ralph Ding, The Red Rooster, and myself ofcourse, The Spirit. If I haven't mentioned your name, I will soon. My brothers in arms, The DZRJ-AM and FM Family.
Moved on to Honolulu, Hawaii and San Francisco, California. In San Diego, California, Jamie worked as a broadcast operator and production assistant for KGB-FM/KPOP-AM.
Also in San Diego, Jamie worked for KMJC-AM, developing his own radio program, managed over-all production and sales. At KMJC-AM, Jamie rented airtime for an hour long cultural show depicting popular music, people, interviews with prominent cultural figures, current events, and cultural updates for residents in the San Diego County..
Now, back in San Francisco, Jamie is searching to maybe land a job in either sales or programming, although his calling is getting back on the air.
Other expiriences include freelance photography, broadcast sales, advertising and promotions, broadcast production, voice-overs, and copywriting.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

A mountain biking afficionado. It is a way of cross training and testing your will and endurance when you are up in the mountains, doing single track and downhill mountain biking.
One of his favorite places to ride is Santa Cruz. The ride and the rush. Santa Cruz is just the place for him. A place he thinks that fits his lifestyle. After getting used to the laidback lifestyle of sun and surf, you must admit, it will be hard to get used to anything else. The next time he goes to Santa Cruz, make sure you go with him. Have fun with the man!
Advisor for the Westmoor "Sprockets" Biking Club...sponsored by Timbuk2 Designs.
