Mr. Right (all about you...)

On the subject of Men...

Looks: Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, so there are no standard rules which may be applied to everybody. In any case, the basics: should be taller than me in heels, which means no shorter than 5 ft 9in (1m75) in height. Without a doubt must have fullish lips . (Yes, this is my one quirky absolute....will explain if you inquire.) I’m drawn to average, slender or athletic bodies . I'm not attracted to Very Large/Overweight, or Body Builder type. Simply a matter of preference. Then again, the packaging is so much less important than the interior… so let’s move on….

Age: I'm a newly minted 24 year old. Approximate age range for guys is 25-35. Of course there are exceptions….but that’s why I said “approximate” now isn’t it? *smile* However I really wouldn't date anyone too far over 35 no matter how young he looks. Yes, Jeff Goldblum is 45 but he's an exception. *wink* The most important ingredient is maturity, which doesn't always correspond to age. On the same note, we wouldn’t want to confuse maturity with “boring”, I’m relatively mature but still a silly (fun!) goose.

Character: Intelligence is the primary ingredient. I actually think I have a little of it, so I need some one who can at least humor me (or themselves) and indulge me with intellectual stimulation. Second, some one who has passion/s. Prematurely settled, lifeless beings would do well to keep hopping along on the net. Multilingual is a definite plus. (Note I write “plus” and not “must”.) I love languages and cultures. It's a part of my work, a part of my friends. Humor. I am a wacky chick. Bugs Bunny is my idol. I have a huge sense of humor, I'm quite sarcastic and I love to laugh. You should too. :)

Interests: Global or international perspective. In other words, should be aware that life exists beyond New York City and beyond the US for that matter. I'm emphatically American but distinctly 'global'. It's a small world after all. Cultured. I love Art. Literature. Theater. Film. Dance. Cuisine. History. You name it. You don't have to be a connoisseur, (I'm certainly not) but basic knowledge or at least a willingness to learn is important.

Career: The key word is motivation. If you love what you do, great, if you hate it, at least have the motivation to make a plan and move on.

The rest: It can't all be put into words. After that, it boils down to something greater. Chemistry perhaps? Alignment of the stars? Alignment of the Clintons? Who knows...
