Purpose

As Hermanas of
Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc.
our intentions to serve the community,
educate ourselves and support one another
shall be established by upholding the founding principles
of which the Sorority was built upon.

We exist to empower ourselves
as strong, thoughtful, and intelligent women
devoted to an Hermandad that has embraced us with all it's
Amor, Dignidad Y Orgullo.

With that Love, Dignity and Pride
we are able to confront and overcome
the many struggles of women and develop ways
for other women to follow
with positive social action at Columbia University.
