Fencing is part of the Summer Empire State Games. New York State is divided into the following 6 regions: Long Island, New York City, Hudson Valley, Adirondack, Central and Western. The Hudson-Berkshire Division includes the entire Adirondack region, and part of the Westchester Region. Athletes who qualify to join a region's team will be provided with team warm-ups, transportation, room and board while competing in the games. The games have both an Open division for adults and a Scholastic division for current high school juniors or below. There is also a Master's division for athletes over 45, but that competition is pay your own way.
