Welcome to the Cut Your Grass web page! C.Y.G. started a long, long, long time ago in a far off land when evil ruled the earth. Actually, it was New York and it really wasn't that long ago. The first official release was the s.a.d. 7-inch "Oh my it's so huge..." in the summer of 1998. Since then we have released the f.o.c.u.s. cd "No refills" in the fall of 1998 and are distributing many other releases. Our philosophy is simple, to help bands put out their music. We are all fans of music here and love helping to get this music out. If our bands don't stay, then that's fine with us. We are happy being just a stepping stone. We don't want to force our music or ideas on anyone.
