Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Big Bad Wolf

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is the #1 theme park in the world, not only in my opinion, but in the Inside Track reader's opinion. The designers who made this park did a great job blending 16th century architecture and landscaping with 20th century rides. This place is both classy and fun at one time. There are 9 European Hamlets in 4 countries, France, England, Italy, and Germany. To people who are going to visit this park soon, take the sky ride to Germany first, it's where all the big rides are except Escape from Pompeii and Loch Ness Monster. Head there early and get on all the rides once or twice before the crowds arrive, then go to the other sections. The park now has five coasters, Drachenfire, a neon-blue, five loop monster. Drachenfire's highlights are the half-corkscrew in the drop, a camelback, batwing, and view of Busch Gardens. Next to Drachenfire is Big Bad Wolf, the best arrow suspended coster. I love the train system on this style of roller coaster, I like it MUCH more than B & M's inverted trains! BBW really makes you feel like you're going to crash into the buildings. The 2nd drop is one of the best on any coaster, you drop right over the water, and at the bottom of the drop they add a brake, which makes you think you're crashing into water. Then they spray you. Riding this in the dark is the best! Loch Ness Monster is a fun interlocking loop coaster built in 1978 The tunnel could've been so much better, maybe they can add a curved drop in it, that would surprise people. Ride this when they run 3 trains, 2 of the trains will meet in the loops. Wild Maus is a typical wild mouse coaster, longest line in the park beside Alpengeist. Alpengeist 1997's new super thriller by B & M is a major success, you can tell by the lines. But in my opinion this is the worst of the B & M inverters, it's too fast and too smooth, you don't feel the ride slow down going around 100 ft. tall loops. The best part is the end, the heartline spin, and helix. My idea for B & M, make wild mousesqe cars, each train would consist of 1 four across car, and just put many of these on the track, that way everyone could see, and it would look more like skiers, the rides theme. Also here is Escape from Pompeii, on a scale from 1-10 is an 8. The first ride is the best, it surprises you, but repete rides lose the surprise and become less good. People tell me it breaks down a lot, I believe it, it broke down when I was there. King Arthur's Challenge, I can't rate this, because I had a defective pair of glasses, but friends say it was great. Haunts of the Olde Country-10- fun and exciting-and it gets you wet! Enchanted Laboratory-my favorite park show-10, fun music and lively characters in a well put-together show! Overall the park gets a 9 (of 10).
