2. Joel C. Phillips married Mary Alderman on 03/21/1852 in Randolph Co. Georgia.
3. In 1860 Joel C. Phillips and Mary Alderman appear on the Census of Taylor Co. Georgia with 2 children Mary A. R. (f) 3 and Sarah A. M. (f) 1. Joel C. Phillips is listed as Rail Road Laborer.
4. There was a James Phillips on the 1830 Randolph Co. Georgia census that had 1 son 5-10, 2 sons ages 10-15 and 1 son 15-20. Possibly the father of Joel C. Phillips.
