Benjam Higgins was born abt 1790 and was from Laurens Co. SC. He was in Gwinnett Co. Georgia by the early 1800's. One of my "Cousins" says that the father of Benjamin Higgins may be Henry Higgins of Laurens Co. SC and that Henry is probably a brother of the Reuben Higgins that was also in Gwinnett Co. GA (The Revolutionary Soldier that drew a land lottery for Carroll Co GA.More research needed on this connection....
