A Prayer For Cross Dads and Moms

Oh God, I was so cross to the children today!
Forgive me, I was discouraged and tired and I took it out on them.
Forgive my bad temper, my impatience and most of all my yelling
I am so ashamed as I think of it I want to kneel down by each of their beds, wake them up and ask them to forgive me.
But I can't they wouldn't understand.
I must go on living with the memory ofthis awful day.
Hours later, I can still see the fear in their eyes as they scurried around, trying to appease me
thinking of my anger and manical raving was their fault.
Oh God,the pathetic helplessness of children.
Their innocence before the awful monster,the enraged adult.
And how forgiving they are, hugging me so fervently at bedtime, kissing me goodnight.
All I can do is straighten their covers, touch a small head burrowed in a pillow and hope with all my heart that they forgive me.
Lord in failing these little ones whom you have put in my keeping,I am failing you.
Please let your infinite patience and goodness replenish me for tomorrow

  These are my kids. Then and Now. Though not always easy to raise, I really feel I was blessed to be able to have them in my life. To Jeff and Crystal, Thank you for being great kids.
When I was working on this page I found some great sites for kids and wanted to include them here for anyone who wanted to check them out. In this day and age kids are using the computers as much as their parents, so it is nice to know there are places they can go to on the net.

This place has more things than I could ever imagine for kids, from homepages to graphics to games and puzzles. It is well worth the time to look through it all.

And now on a more serious note, any one who has children or grandchildren knows how frightening it is to think that something might happen to that child. That someone would honestly want to take your child away. It is so scary to not know where your child is. We can all do something, and it may not seem to be much to us but could mean a lot to someone else. Check out this site, see if you recognize any of these children. Help find a missing child.

Two new sites I have found,(or rather found me). The first one has all different kinds of Disney pictures, from Mickey to Beauty and the Beast. Also Scooby Do and Flinstones. Check it out, it was fun for me to see my favorites again, and will be fun for the kids too.

This next one has some graphics that were pretty cool, it is run by the same person who has Just For Kids. Check it out, you may find something you have been looking for.

For a truly fun place to go and have lots to do, try this place. It has games, links and graphics. I had a great time there. It is definately a kid site, for kids of all ages. It even has coloring pages you can print out! Lots of fun.

Everyday in this country premature babies (preemies as they are called). When they are born it is usually a shock and the parents are not prepared to clothe them. Clothing for these babies is expensive and not something that is really even thought about. There is a need for t-shirts and kimonos for them to wear in the hospital, and for clothes to be taken home in. Also blankets to use and hats for there tiny little heads. There are different organizations that are working on this. The one I have chosen to work with is:
