Little Sue ain’t coming home no more

Listen mother don’t you cry

Could she be happy in the night, I don’t think so

Think of all the times we had

None of them were really really bad

Wasn’t long ago the house was full

Funny how the time can fly

Teddy bears and trains that dad would play with

Now he wants his life again

Just so he can play with them once more

Little Sue ain’t coming home no more

Listen mother don’t you cry

Could she be happy in the night, I don’t think so

Think of all the times we had

None of them were really really bad
