About Me

I have been involved with Gordon Setters for 16 years and with Setters for 23 years, my first Setter being the Irish.
I handle and train my own dogs and I am President and Founder of the New Mexico Gordonites club and have been a member for 12 years.
President, VP and secretary of the New Mexico Stewards club for 10+ years,
a member of the Rio Grande Kennel Club 10 years,
a member of the Gordon Setter Club of America for 12 years,
the Gordon Setter Club of America Reascue contact for New Mexico Gordonites for 6 years,
the Field Editor for the GSCA National newsletter for approximately 10 years,
acting chairman of the annual New Mexico Conformationa and Obedience Specialty and of the annual hunt tests for 4 years,
member of the Yucca GSP Club for 3 years,
member of the Sporting Dog Fanciers of NM for 3 years,
member of the Southern California Gordon Club for 2 years.
Plus I am an avid hunter, obedience and show fancier having handled dogs to titles in all of the above mentioned disciplines including 14+ Champions in various breeds.
